Do you.
Choose a quit date. Something to hold yourself to. A goal to work toward. Quitting has to happen at your own pace.
Conquer the urges.
Triggers are normal — there might be people, places, and sensations that make you want to vape. You can even get support.
No shame in a script.
If you’re over 18, quit medications can help you kick vaping. A quit coach can help you decide if they’re a good fit.
Control your environment.
Trash the vape. Trash stuff that makes you think about vaping or want to vape. After all, why keep that stuff if you’ve quit?
Ask around.
Knowing others have your back can be key. If you have a friend who’s quit vaping, or one who never vaped in the first place, let them know you’re trying. We bet they’ll be there to support you. And if you’re cool with it, you can try to talk to your parents. The fact that you’re trying to be better is a good thing.
