Thinking about quitting? Allow us to not-so-subtly try to convince you.

Here’s the thing about vaping: It’s everywhere. It’s literally designed to entice you and get you addicted. So, if you’ve picked it up, that’s understandable — and you’re not alone. But you’re not alone in quitting, either. There’s a ton of support and resources out there to help you along the way.

First, why quit?

You’ve probably heard about the risks of vaping. But the benefits of quitting could be even bigger than you think. So big that it’s too much to cover here, but we’ll fill you in over here.

We told you there’s help.

Nobody likes to be lectured or feel pressured. Here are just a few of the countless resources that take a no-judgment approach to helping you quit.

  • Smokefree Teen

You’re young. So is your addiction, and that’s a good thing. This site has resources, information, and hands-on help that’s made to help someone your age quit.

  • EX Program

An anonymous text-to-quit program from the Truth Initiative. They’re the OGs of nicotine quit help — and a great overall resource to check out.

  • Smoke Free

One of the most popular quit apps out there. It’s designed for smoking, but most of the advice and tools can apply to vaping too.

  • Quit with Jones

One of the newer players, they treat quitting like a social club. Full disclosure: They also sell nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) lozenges, but the app is a great resource regardless.

You got this.

Quitting isn’t easy. But neither is staying hooked. Life gets a lot easier without an addiction to feed. And honestly, just being here and considering quitting is huge. Here’s to more control, more freedom, and less nicotine.
